Ask Open Science uses the Question2Answer software, which allows to ask questions in two categories by default, "Main" and "Meta".

The "Meta" space is for questions about the website itself, while the "Main" space is for questions around the theme of the website, in our case open science.

As for adding new categories, admins can do that using the "Add Category" button under https://ask-open-science.org/admin/categories .

Ask Open Science used to be called Open Science Q&A but we changed the name when we registered the domain ask-open-science.org. Everything else stays the same: We are still hosted by Bielefeld University Library.
